Ingerman Smith, LLP, announces that partners John H. Gross and Christopher F. Venator will be retiring from the Firm effective December 31, 2025 and January 31, 2026, respectively.
During their lengthy tenure with firm, John and Chris were part of the establishment of Ingerman Smith, LLP as one of the preeminent education law firms in New York State. John joined Ingerman Smith, LLP, in 1971 and during his 54 year career, provided sound legal counsel to our school district clients with a focus on labor relations. Similarly, during his three decades with the Firm, Chris advised the Firm’s clients on a myriad of legal issues facing school districts, successfully handling complex litigation matters.
