Michael Liptrot concentrates his practice on special education, employee discipline, and student discipline. He also provides assistance with tax certiorari proceedings, civil litigation, FOIL/FERPA matters, and subpoena compliance.

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Liptrot represented individuals in matrimonial and family law matters. This included divorce, custody, support, family offense, and neglect/abuse proceedings. He has litigated matters in the Supreme and Family Courts of Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess, and Orange Counties, as well as the Boroughs of New York City.
