
Eric Marshall
Senior Counsel
Eric Marshall brings extensive experience in public and private sector labor, employment, and education law. At Ingerman Smith, he specializes in labor and employment matters including collective bargaining, employee discipline, employment discrimination, alternative dispute resolution, and personal injury litigation. He joined the Firm with over twenty years of representing school, college, and municipal employees across New York, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.
Mr. Marshall has represented clients in civil litigation in state and federal courts in New York, in arbitration, and in matters before the Public Employment Relations Board, the National Labor Relations Board, and in Civil Service Law § 75 hearings. He is committed to both the vigorous representation of his clients and the practical, equitable resolution of work-related challenges.
While in law school, Mr. Marshall completed an externship with the Hon. John M. Leventhal, Associate Justice, Supreme Court of the State of New York, Appellate Division, Second Department. During his time at New York Law School, he also served as Notes and Comments Editor of the Law Review and as president of the Labor and Employment Law Society. Mr. Marshall has performed pro bono work for and served on the board of directors of the not-for-profit Workers Circle.
