Ellen Vega is a Partner focusing her practice on Labor and Employment Law and Education Law. She provides guidance to employers on all aspects of employment policies and practices. This includes employment contracts, collective bargaining agreements, employee disciplinary proceedings, investigations, and terminations.

Ms. Vega represents employers in collective bargaining and contract negotiations, as well as in grievance arbitrations and matters before the Public Employment Relations Board. She also represents employers before courts and administrative agencies in cases involving allegations of employment discrimination, wrongful termination, and other civil matters.

Ms. Vega earned her J.D. cum laude from Fordham University School of Law, where she was a Member of the Fordham Law Review. Before joining Ingerman Smith LLP, Ms. Vega worked in the Department of Labor Relations for the New York City Transit Authority, where she handled contract interpretation and disciplinary grievances filed by various unions.
