Ingerman Smith, LLP was founded in 1937 by Percy Ingerman and Bernard Smith, Ingerman Smith, LLP and was located in the waterfront village of Northport, New York for over 70 years. The Firm has been providing legal services to school districts for decades. In 1997, the Firm expanded its practice into Westchester and Rockland County. The Firm's practice in these counties includes the representation of over a dozen school district clients. The Firm proudly opened its offices in Mount Kisco, New York in 2002 to provide legal services to these clients. In August, 2005, as a result of the growth of the Firm, Ingerman Smith's main offices in Northport were relocated to Hauppauge, New York. In August, 2007, the Mount Kisco office moved to Harrison, New York.
