Ms. Lucas focused her legal work on Education Law, specifically special education, while at Pepperdine University. She was a member of the Pepperdine School of Law Special Education Clinical, where she participated in the various special education procedures of many Los Angeles school districts. During her final year of law school, Ms. Lucas was the Teacher’s Assistant for the Special Education Law and Clinical classes. In addition to her work in special education law, she participated in an independent study her final semester of law school researching the effects of the Establishment Clause in public schools. Ms. Lucas is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.
