Mr. Kwee is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University and the Villanova University School of Law. At Villanova, he served as Managing Editor of Outside Articles of the Villanova Sports and Entertainment Law Journal and Editor-in-Chief of the law school newspaper. After graduating law school, Mr. Kwee litigated and tried cases, in state and federal court, involving construction accidents, premises liability, motor vehicle negligence, school district negligent supervision and sports injury claims, insurance coverage, domestic relations, and commercial cases. Mr. Kwee litigated and represented clients at oral argument before the Appellate Division and the United States Court of Appeals, Second Circuit. Mr. Kwee also has extensive experience representing school districts in Individuals with Disabilities Education Act administrative proceedings before Impartial Hearing Officers, and has litigated tort, discrimination, and commercial matters before Alternative Dispute Resolution forums through binding arbitration as well as non-binding mediation.

Mr. Kwee grew up in the Netherlands and is fluent in Dutch. Since joining Ingerman Smith, L.L.P., Mr. Kwee has concentrated his practice in the area of civil litigation, special education, school district negligence defense, Article 78 judicial review proceedings, employment discrimination, commercial litigation, student disciplinary matters, and general education issues.

Mr. Kwee is admitted to practice law in the State of New York, the State of New Jersey, the United States Court of Appeals Second Circuit, and the United States District Court, Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Suffolk County Bar Association.
