Mr. McCarthy is a graduate of Boston College and Touro College of Law. Following law school, Mr. McCarthy spent several years as a Senior Assistant County Attorney within the Suffolk County Attorney's office where he initially served as a prosecutor within the Family Court and then eventually defended civil claims commenced against the County as a member of the State and Federal Torts Bureau. Thereafter, Mr. McCarthy served as counsel to the Brookhaven Zoning Board of Appeals during his tenure with the Department of Law in the Town of Brookhaven. Since joining the Firm, Mr. McCarthy has primarily concentrated his practice in the area of litigation, student discipline and general education law issues.
Mr. McCarthy is admitted to practice law in the State of New York. He is a member of the New York Bar Association and the Suffolk County Bar Association.
